Here is my Giorgia in the White Swan Room. She looks like an angel but she was quite distructive. I fear a credit card deposit might be demanded prior to my return.
See the look below...she is reving up for distruction!!! LOL
Well, we got her clapping!!!
Here is her so serious look.
Here we all are. Karen, Kaelie, Me, Giorgia, Donna, Joe and Lauren.
Love the pic of everyone together, what a great group to bond with. The shoes are adorable, buy as many as you can...they are so much cheaper than the US, and cuter. I bought chinese clothes in all sizes and it has been so fun to always have a new outfit ready for her with any special events. They are definitely laughing at the dumb American up here in Shenzhen. They refuse to cut me any slack with bargaining, seem to think I'm rich even though it's so far from true. But like you said, it's still less than what we would ever pay at home. Can't wait to see your girl smiling. I know that will be coming soon.
Oh boy are you in for it with some of the looks!! Always be careful what you wish for! But she's also got those beautiful "love me" eyes and I know she'll be great, but a challenge like most children! She just exquisite and we're sooo happy for you! Only 8 more days until Aunt Deb gets to hug all of you (Chrissy included!!). I'm psyched!
My little Georgiana loved that same push toy when we were there in december. Too funny to see it in your photos.
BTW: best place I found for squeaky shoes was Sherrie's place $4 per pair, tons of selection and colors. Very little haggling necessary! Check out the Gift from China store too. They have really nice stuff.
I'm a single mom with an amazing daughter! It all started when I decided I was tired of waiting to be a mom. In my search to find a little girl who needed a mommy I was led to the China International Adoption program. I actually started the process in 2005, got my paperwork to China on 1/13/06. China accepted my paperwork and gave an LID of 2/18/06. After waiting 33 months, I finally received my referral on 11/5/08 for the most beautiful baby in the world. She spent her first 11 months in Southern China just above the South China Sea and now she is home with her mama!! I hope you enjoy reading & looking at my blog as much as I enjoyed creating it. During the wait I was a research junkie for all thing IA so please check out all the links in the sidebar under "Find it Here"...it will show you the posts pertaining to that category. Best wishes to all. Stephe
