A bit of Potty Talk
Some more photos of "Packed Lunch Day"
Here is what you do when your child is wearing clothes that are too big...use matching curling ribbon and tie the straps together in the back and it will keep them from falling down!
Not sitting pretty...
Some potty talk before I leave for work...

Packed Lunch
The girl LOVES blueberry waffles!
I guess I shouldn't stick my tongue out at her.
Mmmmmm....
Today G had her first picnic at school and therefore I had to pack her lunch. Her FIRST packed lunch! Awe. I found out the night before and had nothing for a packed lunch in the kitchen. All the stuff I had needed to be refridgerated and or heated. I had no bread either. Hmmm. So, I steamed a red bean paste bun and wrapped it up. I'm sure it would be okay at room temp but still needed something else. The snacks were a given...already had them...strawberries, raisins and pudding. I needed a veggie??? Okay, so G like wierd stuff so I made a bean and olive pasta salad. Great, NO Italian dressing so I actually surfed the internet for the ingredients and whipped up a small amount. It was totally a success. She demanded it for dinner and breakfast the next day. Good job mommy!
and now a VIDEO!
Waterplay Day
G ALWAYS LOVES waterplay day at school.
Wonder if she was watching WHEEL OF FORTUNE when I wasn't looking???
A bit SASSY for her...

The Luau
Today, G's class was having a Luau party. I brought in Pineapple Fried Rice. It was pretty yummy. I should have taken a photo.
I found the PERFECT dress in her closet!!!
Wow, I actually got a smile!
Not sure what's she doing here...
Then, as soon as we walked into daycare some NOT SO BRIGHT mom swung out of the bathroom like a banchee and wacked my girl in the head with the door! :(
G is bless with a HARD head...
But she has learn the ART of MILKING IT!!!
This is when I went to pick her up in the afternoon!
Happy Day!
G and her BFF!!!!!
Pineapple Fried Rice
Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
4 cups water
2 cups white rice
1 tablespoon oil
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
3/4 peas
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 green onions, thinly sliced (deleted these)
1 cup diced carrots
Directions
Open can of crushed pineapple and drain juice into a cup.
In a medium saucepan, combine the liquid from the can of crushed pineapple with 3 cups water, bring to a boil. Add rice. Bring mixture to boil. Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
In a non-stick wok/skillet heat the 1 tablespoon oil. Add the eggs and cook without stirring, until set. Slide eggs out of the wok to a plate - cut into short, narrow strips. In the same wok, heat the sesame oil and stir fry the peas, soy sauce, green onions, and carrots for about 4 minutes. Stir in cooked rice, pineapple, and egg strips. Heat until everything is heated through.
“The most important thing about fried rice is that the cooked rice should be absolutely cold; rice which has been lying in the refrigerator for a day or two is perfect for this. The rice should also not be overcooked or they tend to go mushy on frying.”
BFF & School
This is A...G's BFF!! I hear A's name every waking moment that we are together lately. Guess she ditched her boyfriend J for a BFF!!! (I am so envious of A's eyelashes! Aren't they AMAZING?!!!)

Daycare Halloween #2 (Parade)
So we only have photos that I could take while holding her...
Note to SELF: Next year I am coming to this Halloween Parade in a costume that she won't recognize me in and just be a bystander snapping away with a camera! Geez. Such Drama!
(Oh yeah, and when we had to change her out of her costume...she flipped out to. I handed a SCREAMING child over to her teacher and practically RAN out of there!)
Daycare Halloween #1 (Morning)
This morning Miss G started out as usually, her happy, yet demanding self. I put her slip on but decided to wait until AFTER breakfast to put on her costume...
I fixed her hair and decided to forgo the tiara until we got to school. Miss G is NOT HAPPY with this decision so I gave in...Tantrum averted...
Now, I had to show her how pretty her tiara was!
Currently, we have NO self esteem issues. This is Miss G kissing herself...
Now we are at Daycare, Miss G drove of course...
Thanks Aunt Christie for the Princess Coat!
Now she is instructing me to put her sippies in the refridgerator...
Now we have a Princess smirk and a wave goodbye...
more to come...
