My southern girl does NOT like to be cold. She will be in shock when we get home!
She's not really sad, it's just her look. She has a completely different look when she is sad and it is unmistakable. She's dressed and ready for the day!
Here we are on a day of sight seeing at the Tomb Museum. Ready for lunch afterwards!

I'm glad it's not her sad look. My agency's China coordinator said that all the babies have a certain look at first and then after they've been home for a bit they lose that look and suddenly look like American kids and not Chinese kids dressed in Western clothing. I can't describe it any better than she did, but when I see the change, it's definitely recognisable.
One thing for certain in the last photo of this set, her hands are exquisite! Just look at those long delicate-looking fingers.
Lia always had that deer-in-the-headlights look too. Now she follows me around yelling TAKE MY PICTURE smiling and posing!
Hello from someone who's been following your journey on-line! I just have to say your daughter is absolutely adorable and I wish you both all the best!

That's the look Eva wore the whole time we were in China (and for months after we got home)-- and you're right -- it definitely wasn't sadness. I called it her observant look. (Her mouth is actually very similar to Giorgia's -- and the big round eyes, too.)
Keep the great photos coming! She is absolutely precious -- and her outfits are darling! :)
She is just adorable. I am so happy for you and cannot wait to see more of your lives unfolding in the coming months.
Hi ! I'm following your journey from the UK and it is lovely to see you together - Giorgia is adorable :o)
