Love the updates...be prepared our little one wore a size 2 despite what they told us and we took no shoes as little socks were exactly what she needed...unless of course little Giorgia is walking but hey there are tons of shoes in China and you will want to have her on you in a pack or something to promote bonding.
I love it so exciting pinch, pinch, pinch enjoy this craziness. It only gets better. Emily
I know foot measurements seem like a hard thing to mess up, but a word of caution: my daughter's feet were nowhere near the size that appeared in her reports. She was 11 months old when I adopted her, and was wearing a size 1 shoe. She was tiny all over, though.
Giorgia's measurements may be completely accurate, but I just thought I'd throw that out there, since you hear a lot about weight measurements being off (yes, they bundle babies even in the southern provinces), but not so much about feet.
Awww, how cool not only knowing her shoe size but knowing she's right on track. Come on TA !!! Giorgia needs to be with her mommy before she's in another shoe size!!
When you are shopping keep a lookout for squeaky shoes. If they are $5 don't think you'll see them someplace else because you might not and then not get to go to the original place! I thought we'd be covered up in shoes but it wasn't the case at all.
Gosh, I don't think we were ever told a shoe size. Nora's feet are small, but very wide! We've had a hard time finding shoes for her. Thank goodness for Robeez.
I'm a single mom with an amazing daughter! It all started when I decided I was tired of waiting to be a mom. In my search to find a little girl who needed a mommy I was led to the China International Adoption program. I actually started the process in 2005, got my paperwork to China on 1/13/06. China accepted my paperwork and gave an LID of 2/18/06. After waiting 33 months, I finally received my referral on 11/5/08 for the most beautiful baby in the world. She spent her first 11 months in Southern China just above the South China Sea and now she is home with her mama!! I hope you enjoy reading & looking at my blog as much as I enjoyed creating it. During the wait I was a research junkie for all thing IA so please check out all the links in the sidebar under "Find it Here"...it will show you the posts pertaining to that category. Best wishes to all. Stephe
