I found this on another blog and wanted to share this with you all. As you know, Adoption is near and dear to my heart.

I wanted to let you all know of an amazing and enjoyable opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child. It is SO SIMPLE and I promise you will enjoy it! In honor of Father's Day, Wendy's will donate 50 CENTS of every Frosty purchased THIS Saturday and Sunday to the Dave Thomas Foundation.

This foundation exists solely for the purpose of educating the public about foster care and assisting in placing foster children in the US in permanent homes through ADOPTION. At this time, there are more than 100,000 legal orphans in the US. These are children who are ready to be placed in an adoptive home; these children have no family or parents of their own.

So go out and splurge on some Frosty's at Wendy's this weekend knowing more than $1 MILLION dollars was raised through the purchase of Frosty's over these same two days last year! This year's goal is $1.3 million. To date, 471 children have found forever families through the direct efforts of the Dave Thomas Foundation and many others have received much-needed special care.
