It is POSSIBLE! G doesn't mind and I truely believe it's much safer.

I think JB was almost 3 when we finally turned her around. She still did not meet the wt requirement, but she was extremely uncomfortable with her legs all bent up, practically in her chin! She is now 8 and is only 43#. I see a lot of similarities between JB and your sweetie.

I am a firm believer in this. Once I have kids they will be rear facing until the last possible moment. once they are in front facing seats they will always have a harness system on until I cant get one to fit them any more. You can even get harnesses for air travel these days make much more sense.
